The following is a review of the JayBird Sportsband Bluetooth Headphones by http://running4themasses.wordpress.com their blog contains “Information about running for and Ordinary Average Joe”

Product Review: Jaybird Sportsband

Recently, I reviewed the Plantronic 903+ BackBeat Bluetooth Headphones.  They are one of the nicer Bluetooth headphones on the market.

However; there is one brand that I think stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to Bluetooth headphones and headphones designed for working out.  The company is Jaybird.

I highly recommend you check out their website at the link about for their complete product rundown and description of all of their product lines.

For close to a year now, I’ve been using the Jaybird Sportsband 2 (pictured above) and per my previous review of the Plantronics headphones, have mixed the 903+ into the mix.  I had a run last night, and decided I wanted to use the Jaybird headphones, and I am glad I did.  I forgot how much I love these headphones. Apple’s Plan for a World Without Wires

Monday, September 5th, 2011

Apple is reportedly working on a way to sync iPods with iTunes wirelessly. It’s just another step in Apple’s steady march toward making wires and cords a thing of the past.

Steve Jobs is apparently pushing hard to make the next generation iPods capable of this type of wireless sync, according to Cult of Mac‘s sources. iPods with wireless sync would make the USB cable obsolete. Instead of importing music, movies and apps through Apple’s iconic 30-pin connector, it would automatically sync whenever a user was connected to his or her Wi-Fi network.

Stretching Tips

Thursday, May 12th, 2011

I recently attended three stretching seminars, all taught by experienced health and fitness educators, on three consecutive weekends. One seminar focused on stretching muscles that are tight, one focused on activation for muscles that are weak, and the third dealt with how both approaches can be effective. There are many different ways to effectively stretch, so to make sense of all that information, it might be helpful to start by saying this: not everyone responds the same way to stretching, and not every body needs every stretch.

Exercising with Your Dog

By Jen Mueller

You come home from a long day at work, ready to put your feet up and relax for a while. When you open the door to find your furry friend waiting, hoping that it’s time for a walk or a game of fetch, what do you do? Do you ignore the wagging tail, those big eyes, and that look of excitement? Of course not! You decide that relaxing can wait, and you head out with Fido for a little activity.

Battery Life Problems on Your Smartphone? A Whole New Research Has Got the Answer.

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

It’s no secret that Mobile phones, while indispensable inside the modern life, have a trouble with battery longevity. I have found that in most cases, my Android mobile phone and iPhone will run out of power in the mean time they’ve fallen into sleep mode while unplugged from the wall for approximately 24 hours. This can be a bit frustrating, especially if I need the phone to operate without power for a set period of time, for example on the road trip when I neglected to pack a car charger and won’t have access to a power source for several days.

Review: Jaybird Sportsband passes 12 of 12 tests

Monday, April 11th, 2011

by PPCApache

Jaybird released their update to their very successful Sportsband Bluetooth Headphones range with the release of the Sportsband 2. Monday to Friday I spend about 45 mins travelling to work one way, this includes a 5 min walk to the train station, 30 min train ride and a 10 min walk to work from the train station so most days I like to listen to music on my walks and watch a movie on the train, now I used to use cabled headsets like Jaybirds Tiger Eyes, SkullCandy, HTC and even Apple headphones, they all have one thing in common the cable. Some are great like the Tiger Eyes and SkullCandy and pump out some pure sound and some just don’t cut it – they don’t stay on or the audio sounds flat. So I was delighted to have a go at the Sportsband 2 Headphones, it eliminates the cable saga.
